All data in this portal is extracted from Form N-PX filings. Our database covers every N-PX filing submitted between July 1, 2023–September 22, 2025.


1. Entities that must report all proxy votes

U.S. asset managers managing at least $100 million in securities traded on U.S. exchanges (technically, 13F filers). Examples include:

  • Exchange-traded funds (ETFs)
  • Open-end mutual funds
  • Closed-end funds

2. Entities required to report only "say-on-pay" votes

Global institutions controlling at least $100 million in securities traded on U.S. exchanges (technically, 13F filers). Examples include:

  • European asset managers
  • Banks and insurance companies
  • Broker-dealers
  • University endowments
  • Hedge & private-equity advisers

3. Entities with no Form N-PX requirement

  • Private funds below the Form 13F threshold
  • Foreign managers with no Form 13F obligation
  • Small Business Investment Companies
  • Unit Investment Trusts (UITs)

Additional Information

  • Reporting period: Reporting periods generally cover votes cast from July 1 through June 30 annually.
  • Filing deadline: August 31 each year.
  • Joint reporting: Rules allow joint reporting to avoid duplication.
  • Non-U.S. Security Issuers: Voting funds report votes on all portfolio securities, including international.
